Ekkluo (\u1F10\u03BA\u03BB\u03CD\u03C9) is an ancient Greek verb — a compound of ek and ly\u014D — that has carried this meaning for two thousand years. ΕΚ — out of, from within, proceeding from a source. The same ek that begins ekklesia, the New Testament word for church: the called-out assembly of God's people.
ΛΥΩ — to loose, to grow slack, to become unstrung. The word used in Hebrews 12:3: so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. Do not ekkluo.
